Kawai Upright Pianos

Underpinning their upright pianos is the Millenium III Action which utilises components made from ABS-Carbon. The use of this material, both lighter and stronger than wood, allows for a more durable and harder wearing piano action that offers the player more power, control and stability. Kawai pianos are characterised by their warm, rich tone and an exceptionally broad dynamic range, from the perfect pianissimo to a thundering fortissimo.

At the start of the range the K15, with it’s modern style cabinet and solid spruce soundboard is a great piano for beginners and it’s compact size means it fits comfortably in smaller spaces. The K200 and K300 models are perhaps the best-selling pianos in the range, and with their larger cabinets and longer string lengths offer a fuller, more responsive sound. The flagship K600 piano, at 134cm tall and enhanced with full duplex scaling offers incredible tone and would grace any professional setting.

Kawai upright pianos are also available as silent pianos, utilising digital technology to allow silent practice through headphones. In addition to this feature, Kawai have created the Aures piano that uses the soundboard to amplify the digital tone meaning the volume can be adjusted and the piano played quietly without the need for headphones.
