The Maui Xaphoon® Pocket Sax is available in the key of C and is fully chromatic mwith a 2 octave range. The Pocket Sax is made from industrial strength ABS resin and is an extremely durable instrument, ideal for classrooms, students on a budget, and anyone who might be subjecting the instrument to rough conditions. Perhaps the greatest thing about the Xaphoon® though is its portability. This is an instrument you can take almost anywhere!
The Xaphoon® uses a tenor sax reed but plays in the alto sax register and is roughly the same size as a recorder. A great option for travelling saxophonists who want to keep their practice up, or just for any adventurous woodwind player!
