The Pearl PF505 Flute (‘Quantz Range’) is an excellent student entry level flute. This model enables players to create responsive and attractive flute tones.
The Quantz 505 is the baseline model of the Pearl student flute range, with all the features of a standard student flute including closed-hole keys, an offset G and split-E mechanism.
Uniquely among flutes in this price range, some of its keys are French-pointed (with a pointed key arm extending to the centre of the key cup), something more commonly found on intermediate and professional instruments. It also benefits from other unique design features which contribute to a smooth and reliable key mechanism.
