Yamaha FS800 Acoustic, Natural

The latest series of the FS range offers a richer sound with better projection (particularly in the low to mid range) thanks to cutting-edge acoustic analysis techniques developed by our Guitar Research team, where a mix of real-world trials and detailed computer-based modelling and simulation are used to determine the optimum bracing positions, negating the need for guesswork.

This analysis led to the development of the FS Series' new scalloped bracing pattern; a new and ideal acoustic structure that maintains the durability of the top board while allowing the FS guitar's sound to shine.

Yamaha's FG and FS story began in 1966 with the release of the seminal FG180 and FG150. Over the 50 years since their introduction, Yamaha have developed and crafted several generations of FS guitars - all of which have reinforced the FS Series' position as the ideal small-bodied acoustic and electro-acoustic for contemporary players.
