Considering that Alan has been a full time entertainer for over forty years, it's quite surprising to note that this is his first DVD release. The performance featured here was recorded on 23rd January 2009 at the Customs House Theatre, barely a mile from Alan's birthplace in Tyne Dock. To witness him entertaining his home town audience is like watching a comedy master class, his smooth, relaxed delivery is a joy to watch and his material is achingly funny. For many people in the North East, 'Foxy' will always be the funniest and most original of our home grown comics.
