Adrian Lord - Journey - Twelve Romances for Piano

At the age of 6 years Adrian Lord started to learn to play the piano. He has been writing music for as long as he can remember. Whilst his father would have preferred him to study law or medicine, it was clear that there was only one thing he was going to do! He was educated at Stockport Grammar School where he won the Old Stopfordian's Lodge Music Prize. During this time, he studied piano with David Smith at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. His music studies continued at Colchester Institute. Here Adrian studied piano with Martin Hughes, and Robert Bell, and in his final year he won the Canon Jack Award for Piano Performance. Whilst at Colchester, he also studied composition with Alan Bullard, and Christopher Ball, and his compositions began to be featured in their concerts.

The books have been typeset, designed and printed by people who work for ABRSM publishing, so they are easy to read, and look and feel great. These pieces are between grade 5 and 7 standard.
