Creativity and expression
Tweak your tone as you play with the two live control knobs. Adjust filter cut-offs or effect parameters mid performance, to add new forms of expression to your playing. The Motion Effect immediately applies dynamic effects to your playing which morph your sound in exciting ways. Create risers, tape stop effects, or apply a filter, all by just holding the button down! If you want to get truly creative, use the on-board sampler to turn any noise into your new sound, and incorporate it into your music with just the press of a button.
In the studio
The PSR E473 functions as a USB MIDI device, so you can plug it straight into your computer and use it to control your favourite DAW or any other musical software. Using the LINE outputs you can record the audio from the keyboard straight into your latest production, making use of all the keyboard's on-board effects and sounds. Electronic music producers will love the Groove Creator, which allows you to rapidly piece together entire tracks whilst controlling filters and effects.
On stage
This keyboard features separate left and right audio outputs, so you can easily connect to PA systems. This is a true performer's keyboard, perfect for laying down backing pads or ripping out lead lines. Cut through the mix with the Mega Boost button, which adds +6dB of volume to your output - perfect for solos!
Be the band
With 290 automatic accompaniment styles, ranging from rock, to dance, to jazz - you can create a full-band experience using just this keyboard. Drum patterns, basslines, and chords all respond intuitively to your left hand. You can even add vocals by plugging a microphone into the keyboard! Sing along to your playing, and make use of the PSR E473's studio-quality vocal effects.
