The TransAcoustic system fitted to the Yamaha FG-TA - presented here in a stunning Vintage Tint finish - will change your perception of what an acoustic guitar is capable of. Play it normally, and it just sounds and plays like a very impressive acoustic guitar.
Switch the system on, however, and you can dial in a selection of two reverb types or chorus, all without plugging into an amp. This makes it a perfect instrument for at-home enjoyment, while you know that the same sound can also be routed through a PA system for live performance.
An actuator installed on the inner surface of the guitar back vibrates in response to the vibrations of the strings. The vibrations of the actuator are then conveyed to the body of the guitar, and to the air in and around the guitar body, generating authentic reverb and chorus sounds from inside the body.
