The Ashbury AU40 range are a popular step up from a basic starter uke. Featuring a flamed oak body and top, hardwood fingerboard and buffalo bone nut and saddle for a stable tone.
The top and body meet with some white plastic binding which helps the whole instrument to resonate as one and produce a rich voice with an element of sustain. This instrument is comfortable to hold and the neck plays easily.

Ashbury have been constructing and distributing quality folk instruments since 1996. They have a variety of factories in both Vietnam and Indonesia as well as China. The brand works with the long established luthier Phil Davidson to design and create each model which is tested and checked to produce an instrument that is both easy to play and provides a high quality sound.
