Designed with a vintage sunset burst, the cutaway inspired shape means you’ll have maximum access to all 22 frets on the board, helping you hit those hard-to-reach high notes. The fretboard itself is made from rosewood, and rests on the other side of the satin polyurethane finished mahogany neck which will feel silky smooth in your grasp. Manoeuvrability will be a breeze, and thanks to the stainless steel frets, you can bend the strings to your heart's content, their jumbo size will also help you find the right note at the right time, every time.

Yamaha’s Revstar range experiments with a variety of tonal options, and the RSS20 comes equipped with two VH5n humbucking pickups that will deliver a powerful yet balanced and bright sound. The combined maple and mahogany chambered body are developed with Yamaha’s acoustic inspired design. This process uses the already rich harmonics provided by these high-quality woods and, using advanced measurement and chambering patterns, creates additional resonance to provide the perfect base upon which you can build your sound.

The building will be easy. With the master tone control that acts as a push/pull “focus switch” you can alter the tone of your selected pickup. Combine this with the 5-poistion pickup switch, and you’ll be sure to reinvent your voice time and time again.
