- Beautiful tone
- Faithful reproduction of Paganini's concert violin
- Handcrafted and professional set up
- Fitted with Tonica strings
This stunning violin is a modern interpretation of Guiseppe Guarneri's 'Il Cannone' violin of 1742. Known as 'the most famous violin in the world', the original was given to a young Paganini by General Pino and remained Paganini's only concert instrument for the rest of his life. This beautiful instrument is handcrafted from excellent quality spruce and maple, it gives students as well as professional players the opportunity to own a stunning interpretation of a fine Italian instrument.
This instrument has been set up by an experience professional violin maker in our store. The pegs have been filled and pasted, the soundpost has been adjusted and the bridge has been filed down and correctly fitted to an optimum height. These adjustments vastly improve the performance of the instrument and allow the violin to reach its full tonal potential. The set up also includes the fitting of high quality Tonica violin strings to further develop the sound and make this instrument truly unique.
