Alex Winter's (Bill & Ted's movie franchises, The Lost Boys) assembly features appearances by Frank's widow Gail Zappa and several of Frank's musical collaborators including Mike Keneally, Ian Underwood, Steve Vai, Pamela Des Barres, Bunk Gardner, David Harrington, Scott Thunes, Ruth Underwood, Ray White and others. Showcasing 68 songs, there are 12 previously unreleased recordings from the Zappa archive along with his Saturday Night Live performance from 1978 and 25 additional Zappa songs from his extensive catalog spanning four decades.
