The Ashbury's all solid sapele tenor guitar has a huge voice with plenty of bass and projection as well as great treble response. Fitted with a bone nut and saddle, this instrument has brilliant sustain and harmonics.
Standard tuning is G-D-A-E (the same as a mandolin one ocatve lower). Many players choose to tune this instrument to 'Chicago' tuning to match the baritone ukulele or the top four strings of the guitar D-G-B-E.
However you choose to use this instrument the quality of tone and playability of this instrument is undeniable.
