Brand Ashbury

This Ashbury octave mandola is a high quality instrument constructed from all solid woods. The sitka spruce top provides a bright tone that couples with the soilid maple back and sides to give plenty of projection and power to the sound. Tuned to GDAE the octave mandolin is great option for mandolinists looking for a different tonal range or a new challenge or even an instrument with a longer scale and more fretboard space.

The fingerboard is constructed from durable Ovankol wood and the bridge is ebony. The gloss finish will give slightly more attack to the tone as well as providing a durable finish and protecting the woods beneath.
