The Ashbury AB-55TS tenor banjo is a high quality short scale open backed instrument packed with fantastic features. The satin walnut neck and rim is beautifully made and is bound with maple to give a great look and feel. Planetary tuning pegs give authenticity as well the additional tuning stability and durability found in professional quality instruments. The Whyte Ladye tone ring reinforces the sound, adding a depth of tone not found in cheaper instruments. The banjo is supplied with guage 12 strings and is tuned to CGDA however could easily be restrung to play in GDAE tuning if desired. A fantastic top quality instrument that will not disappoint!
