When Geordie actor Sammy Johnson died suddenly in 1998, his friends Tim Healy and Jimmy Nail were determined he would be remembered. The results of their labours was the formation of the Sammy Johnson Memorial Fund and a series of bi-annual concerts.
On the 1st February 2004, an all-star cast of Tynesiders performed two sell-out concerts at Newcastle City Hall in support of the fund. Those lucky enough to get tickets laughed and sang their way through two hours of fantastic Geordie entertainment.
75% of the proceeds from the sale of this product will be donated to the Sammy Johnson Memorial Fund.
