A lightweight openback tenor banjo - ideal for beginners or as a travel instrument.
This is a no-frills banjo with a good clear tone for such a light instrument. It features a mahogany rim and neck with a rosewood fingerboard. This 19-fret instrument is fitted with 0.12 gauge strings and so is best suited to GDAE 'Irish' tuning, although can be restrung with 0.09 gauge strings for traditional CGDA tuning. Ideal for any mandolin players or even violin players who wish to get a different sound or guitar players up for a bit of a challenge.
