Tongue drums have a similar sound to calypso steel pan drums and are based on the famous Hang. These are sensitive, dynamic instruments that can be played with hands and fingers or with the beaters provided.
These drums produce long, sutained bell-like tones from each of the individually tuned 'tongues' which lends a medatitive, relaxing quality to the instrument. They really are wonderful to play and hear, ad its very easy to play them well enough to get a great tune out of them, making them a fantastic addition to any musicians colection, or evn someone completly new to playing music.
This example is tuned to the Raga Bhopali scale of C, D, E, G, A, C and comes complete with carry case and beaters.
