At JG Windows, having sold musical instruments for over 100 years we feel that we have a pretty good sense of what is important when choosing the right one.
The Arcade 1908 clarinet is a perfect first clarinet to buy. This clarinet is an excellent starter instrument. It features strong well built silver plated keywork.
The ABS plastic body gives a consistant and bright tone, whilst being easy to play in the lower and upper register.
Being relatively lightweight it is easy to hold without becoming a strain on your arm if you're playing for long periods of time.
If you would like some honest face to face advice, you are welcome to visit either of our stores and hold the instrument, listen to the quality and hear what it sounds like (we are happy to play a tune!) These instruments are a step up in terms of specification compared to the range of entry level instruments on the market and will certainly last for more than the starter period of time.
